all is well (part II)

Appreciation is the highest vibration 💕

I’d like to start the second installment of my *all is well* series off by expressing my sincere and heartfelt appreciation to all those who have made my quarantine life easier these past few weeks.

I’d like to start with the healthcare workers, nurses, doctors, hospital personnel, police officers, and everyone who is on the front lines playing a critical role in controlling the pandemic. Thank you for working hard to keep all of us safe. ✨

I’d also like to thank all the amazing people I had the opportunity to rendezvous with these past few weeks outside. Special shout out to the staff at my local Target for manning the shopping carts with an associate who sanitizes shopping carts for all customers who walk inside. Last Saturday, I went out for my weekly grocery run there and my experience was nothing short of memorable in the best way possible. I was greeted several times by several people in different sections of the store right down to the cashier who remembered me from several visits ago. She asked me, “Are you the one who bought an air fryer a while back?” I was so surprised she remembered me I told her: Yes, that’s me! How are you doing? I don’t remember the rest of the conversation but I do remember walking out of the store feeling like there’s a shred of light that’s glimmering through all of this. Thank you for doing your part to make me feel safe and welcomed while I’m gathering my supplies for the week. 💗

Last but not least, I’d like to thank the Amazon drivers who dropped off all my items with care. I actually got a text from a driver named Michael asking me where it’s safe to drop off my package. But that’s not all, all of my supplements, protein bars, and weights have arrived in perfect condition. Thank you for dropping all of my items with care.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything all of you do to allow me to stay at home. 💖 Read More

staying balanced

Since this is the first post in Always Hungry, I think it’s fitting to share the inspiration behind why I chose to dedicate a whole section of my blog to it.

True to the tagline this blog: “Simply goals & sustainability, obtained” this is a major arena where l demonstrate how I live this consistently.

FOOD is part of a balanced diet. âš¡

Years before this blog was even created, I discovered that I loved showing my creativity through food. Cooking still brings me great joy till this day because I see it as an act of self-care. It is my undying belief that busy ≠ food has to take a backseat. ⚡

Which brings me to the value prop of this section:

I will show you guys how to prepare recipes that are easy, pretty to look at, and most important of all, fricken’ delicious. 🤩

(Like seriously, where do I sign, right?) ✌😎 Read more

the coast is clear

Oh haiiiii, me again. 😊

I felt compelled to write this post because like this man sitting on the rock here, I’m ready to set sail on my new adventure. 🌊

This brings me to a time where I interviewed Grandma Peggy for an assignment in undergrad. I had to interview someone who’s two generations older than me and write it up. Of course, I knew *exactly* what I wanted to hear Grandma talk about: her escape from the Viet Cong regime in the late 70s. Read more

creative genius

The WBFF is slowly dropping its 2020 schedule and it’s ringing my bells.

I want to walk a bikini competition next year. :):)

I’m aware that my alignment comes from my love of lifting heavy, cooking, and telling the story of my journey. I want to inspire through the clarity of my example. âš¡

Me + My knowledge of the laws of the Universe + Inspired action = Competition ready

Thoughts are manifestations too.

99% of resources have been gathered before I even decided to lay hands on that barbell.

So much momentum has been gathered already. I know where I’m buying my suit, which pair of sparkly Jimmy Choos, and how blonde I want to be when I want to walk across that stage in LA. I also know which dress I’m buying for the evening gown round too. ✨

I also consulted my coach a few months back and as it turns out, she has coached bikini competitors too. 😎

…and that’s not all. Read More
